CONCERNING THE HEAT: I just realized that by increasing the size of the holes (7/16) on the plates where the ss bolts (1/4) travel thru without touching: GREATLY DECREASES HEAT.This seems to be because the electricity takes a shortcut closest to the bolts if the gap is too small. The bolts no longer generate any heat and the water temperature has decrease significantly due to this change.

After a long drive with a half a tea spoon of sodium hydroxide: 160 degress. Any more electrolyte and she’ll boil over.
