@alohadoc1 You’ve probably already figured it out, but for those reading now:
On Labella’s website they include a diagram for easy installation. In that diagram they have the amp gauge shown connected to the NEGATIVE wire between the PWM and HHO booster.
your manual says to put the amp meter in line from the positive/hot side of the battery, but here you keep saying to the “ground” or negative.. Which is it?
There are benefits in both style of meters. The external shunt meter can be wired with lighter gauge wire making it easier to run the meter from under the hood to the inside the vehicle
just buy one with internal shunt make life easier
